The Surf & Summit Bali package is for adventurers who want to master two of Bali's most iconic pursuits in a single week — riding ocean waves and conquering sacred mountains. Seven days of salt, sweat, and summit glory across Bali's most dramatic landscapes.
Three mornings of coached surf sessions on the legendary breaks of Uluwatu and Canggu will have you reading waves and trimming a board. Then the focus shifts skyward — the ascent of Mount Agung, Bali's highest and most sacred peak at 3,142m, is a spiritual and physical undertaking unlike anything else on the island. White water rafting through Grade 3–4 rapids on the Telaga Waja, a cliff-side Kecak fire dance, and snorkelling with sea turtles at Nusa Dua round out one of the most complete Bali adventure weeks available.
Route: Arrival → Canggu (Surf) → Ubud (Agung Trek) → Telaga Waja → Uluwatu → Nusa Dua → Departure
Three full mornings of ISA-certified surf coaching on Bali's two most famous breaks. From beach fundamentals and pop-up technique on Day 1, to reading lineups and catching sets independently by Day 3. All boards, rash vests, and video analysis included.
Bali's most sacred and most challenging summit — Mount Agung towers 3,142m above the island, its peak touching the clouds. The ascent begins at midnight, winding through forest and volcanic rock to reach the crater rim at sunrise, with views stretching to Java, Lombok, and the entire Bali coastline below.
The Telaga Waja is Bali's most thrilling white water route — faster, steeper and more technical than the Ayung, with Grade 3–4 rapids through a stunning gorge of tropical vegetation, bamboo bridges, and hidden waterfalls. Not for the faint-hearted.
As the sun sets over the Indian Ocean, 70 chanting Kecak priests perform the ancient Ramayana epic on the cliffs of Uluwatu — fire, shadow, and ocean backdrop creating one of Bali's most memorable experiences. Private cliff-side dinner follows the performance.
Bali's southern waters hide some of its most beautiful marine life — colourful coral gardens, sea turtles, and tropical fish shoals. Your guided snorkelling session at Nusa Dua's reef and the nearby Blue Lagoon provides the perfect ocean cool-down after days of intensity.
Three nights in a Canggu surf lodge — steps from the beach, boards in the rack, cold showers and cold drinks. Then three nights in a boutique Ubud garden villa overlooking rice fields — an utterly different energy that perfectly balances the week's adventures.
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport. Private transfer to your Canggu surf lodge (approx. 40 min). Check in, settle in, and walk to the beach for your first look at Bali's famous break. Meet your surf instructor over an afternoon briefing — assess your current level, set goals, and plan the three-day programme. Evening: explore Canggu's vibrant café scene and watch locals surf Batu Bolong at dusk. Early night — surf starts at dawn.
6:00 AM: hit the beach for your first coached surf session at Canggu. Begin on the sand with paddle drills and pop-up practice, then into the water with your instructor at your shoulder. The consistent Canggu beach break is ideal for learning — the instructor catches waves beside you, reading sets and positioning you for success. Session ends at 9 AM. Breakfast, rest, and afternoon free to explore Canggu's markets, cafés, and rice field walk to Berawa. Evening: free for Canggu's legendary sunset beach bar scene.
Transfer to Uluwatu for your second coached session on one of Bali's most legendary waves. Depending on swell and level, surf the accessible sections of Uluwatu's famous left-hand reef break — a wave that has shaped world champions. Afternoon: visit the extraordinary Pura Luhur Uluwatu cliff temple, monkeys and all, perched 70m above the Indian Ocean on a knife-edge limestone cliff. Evening: front-row seats for the Kecak fire dance as the sun sets. Private cliff-side dinner to follow.
Final surf session — your most advanced yet. By now you're reading waves and riding independently. Your instructor pushes your technique: board trim, cutbacks, and positioning on the wave face. Video analysis session on the beach after — watch yourself back and see how far you've come in three days. Transfer to Ubud (approx. 1.5 hrs). Check in to your boutique rice field villa. Afternoon free to explore Ubud's art market and temples. Evening briefing for the Mount Agung summit attempt.
Midnight departure. The ascent of Mount Agung — Bali's highest and most sacred peak — is a 6–7 hour round trip through dense forest, volcanic scree, and exposed ridgeline in darkness. At 3,142m, you stand on the roof of Bali at sunrise, looking down through clouds at the entire island below. Java and Lombok visible on clear days. The descent returns you to base by midday. Afternoon: absolute rest at the Ubud villa. Evening: Telaga Waja rafting briefing and gear collection.
Morning: Telaga Waja white water rafting — Bali's most technical river route with Grade 3–4 rapids through a deep, spectacular jungle gorge. Unlike the Ayung, the Telaga Waja delivers continuous adrenaline with fewer rest sections. Riverside lunch at the finish. Afternoon: transfer to Nusa Dua for a guided snorkelling session on the coral reef and at the Blue Lagoon — sea turtles, parrotfish and schools of tropical colour beneath crystal-clear water. Return to Ubud for a final evening of celebration.
Final morning in Ubud — slow breakfast in the rice field villa, last cup of Bali coffee. Your driver picks you up at the required time for the scenic drive through Bali's south to Ngurah Rai Airport. The surf instructor's words echo, the summit view replays, the rapids roar in memory. A week that changes what you think you're capable of.
"I arrived not knowing how to surf. By Day 3 I was riding Uluwatu. That night, the Kecak fire dance with the sun setting over the ocean was the most cinematic thing I've ever experienced. BaliHoliday packs so much into 7 days."
Mar 2026"Standing on the summit of Mount Agung, higher than any cloud, looking down at the whole of Bali at sunrise — that was worth every exhausted step. The combination of surfing and summit in one week is genuinely unique."
Feb 2026"The Telaga Waja rafting is on another level compared to the Ayung — proper rapids, proper fear, proper satisfaction. The sea turtle snorkelling at Nusa Dua the same afternoon was the perfect contrast. Incredible package design."
Jan 2026"The surf coaching alone was worth the trip — the video review after Day 3 was genuinely eye-opening. You can see your progress so clearly. Agung is brutal but the summit is something I'll carry forever."
