Rise before dawn for the short drive to Tegallalang — your guide leads you through the terraces as the first light transforms the paddies into gold and the morning mist rolls over the hillside. Return for breakfast at your villa pool. Mid-morning: drive to Pura Tirta Empul, one of Bali's most revered temples, built around sacred natural springs. Change into temple attire and participate in the traditional purification ritual — wading through the holy bathing pools under the guidance of a local priest. Afternoon: visit the neighbouring Gunung Kawi royal temples carved directly into the cliff face. Return to villa for dinner.

Afternoon: join your guide on a walking tour of Ubud's cultural heart — Puri Saren (the Royal Palace), the traditional art market, and the gallery lane where Balinese painters, woodcarvers and silversmiths still practise as their ancestors did. Morning at leisure — a final villa pool breakfast above the rice terraces. Optional: white-water rafting on the Ayung River (Bali's longest river), cutting through the jungle gorge below Ubud. Afternoon: drive south to Uluwatu (approx. 90 min) to the clifftop Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple complex — the ancient sea temple perched 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. Explore the temple grounds with the resident macaques and take in the dramatic coastal views. As sunset approaches, take your seats for the legendary Kecak fire dance — 70 bare-chested priests chanting in hypnotic unison as Rama and Sita's story plays out in firelight above the blazing ocean horizon. Drive back to Ubud for your final night.
Final morning in your jungle villa. A slow breakfast above the rice paddies, one last swim in your private pool, and perhaps a short walk through the village lanes. Our driver picks you up at the time suited to your departure flight — scenic drive south to Ngurah Rai Airport through Bali's landscape. Tour ends with warm farewells and a heart full of memories.
