The Nusa Penida Dive & Discover package is for those who want to go deeper into Nusa Penida — literally and figuratively. Four nights on the island, including three guided scuba dives across its world-renowned underwater landscapes, combined with a full exploration of every dramatic western and eastern cliff.
Beneath the surface, your dive programme takes you to Crystal Bay — home to the rare Mola Mola ocean sunfish during July–September — and to Manta Point, where enormous manta rays gather in the current. The third dive at Toyapakeh reveals an extraordinary underwater wall teeming with sea turtles, sharks, and vibrant coral gardens. Above the water, explore Nusa Penida's full coastline from Kelingking to Diamond Beach.
Route: Sanur → Nusa Penida → West Island Cliffs → Crystal Bay Dive → Manta Point Dive → Toyapakeh Dive → East Island Trek → Return to Sanur
Three of the world's great dive sites in a single trip. Crystal Bay's dramatic underwater walls, Manta Point's graceful giants, and Toyapakeh's extraordinary teeming reef — each a completely different and spectacular underwater world.
The rare Mola Mola — the world's heaviest bony fish — visits Crystal Bay during the cool season to be cleaned by smaller reef fish. At up to 3 metres across, an encounter with the Mola Mola is one of diving's most extraordinary experiences.
A complete circuit of Nusa Penida's magnificent western cliffs — Kelingking, Angel's Billabong, Broken Beach, Crystal Bay lookout, and the lesser-visited Banah Cliff Point — with a private guide and private vehicle all day.
Trek down to the island's eastern gems — Diamond Beach, famous for its diamond-bright turquoise water and towering limestone stacks, and Atuh Beach, a secluded cove accessible only by a steep jungle trail with panoramic ocean views.
Four nights at a boutique resort perched on the island's cliffs — infinity pool overlooking the Badung Strait, open-air breakfast with ocean panoramas, and the soundtrack of waves 60 metres below your terrace.
A chartered private speedboat from Sanur plus a certified PADI dive guide for all three dives — with full equipment provided, briefing, and safety coverage throughout your underwater programme.
Early morning speedboat from Sanur — arrive at Nusa Penida and check in to your boutique cliffside resort. After breakfast and a quick rest, head straight for the island's most dramatic western viewpoints. Kelingking Beach cliff viewpoint, the descent trail for the brave, Angel's Billabong natural pool, and Broken Beach rock arch. Return to the resort at golden hour, watching the sun drop over the Indian Ocean from your clifftop infinity pool. Welcome dinner at the resort restaurant.
First dive day — breakfast at the resort before your dive briefing. Morning dive at Manta Point: descend to the cleaning station at 12–18 metres where enormous manta rays queue to have parasites removed by smaller reef fish. The scene is utterly prehistoric and mesmerising. Surface, rest on the boat, then your second dive at Crystal Bay — an entirely different environment, with a dramatic underwater wall covered in sea fans, soft corals, pygmy seahorses, and during season, the extraordinary Mola Mola sunfish. Afternoon free time at Crystal Bay beach. Sunset back at the resort.
Morning dive at Toyapakeh — the most biodiverse site on the island. A dramatic drop-off wall from 5 to 40 metres, home to schools of trevally, barracuda, sea turtles nesting on the reef, and white-tip reef sharks patrolling the deep. After surfacing and a rest, afternoon trek to the east island: Diamond Beach with its diamond-bright water and towering karst stacks rising from the sea, and Atuh Beach — one of the most secluded coves in all of Bali. Return to the resort for a well-earned sunset dinner.
A day off the tanks — explore the island's lesser-known and most serene landscapes. Morning: the Peguyangan sacred spring and waterfall on the southern cliff — a vertiginous blue staircase descends to the cliff base where a natural spring feeds a small freshwater pool beside the crashing sea. Afternoon: the Teletubbies Hills of eastern Nusa Penida — a surreal landscape of smooth, rolling green mounds completely unlike anywhere else in Bali. Final sunset from the resort's infinity pool over a farewell cocktail.
Last sunrise on Nusa Penida — watch dawn turn the limestone cliffs amber from your resort terrace. Leisurely final breakfast before checkout. Optional morning snorkel at a local beach before your private speedboat departs back to Sanur. Arrive in Sanur mid-morning with four days of diving memories, wild cliff adventures, and the knowledge that you've truly discovered Nusa Penida — not just visited it.
"The Toyapakeh dive was the best of my life — the wall drops forever and the fish life is incredible. Three mantas on the first dive, two turtles on day three. The resort's infinity pool at sunset is something I'll never forget."
Mar 2026"I came for the Mola Mola and it did not disappoint — came face to face with one at Crystal Bay, at least 2 metres across. The dive guide was brilliant. And Diamond Beach was an unexpected highlight above water."
Aug 2025"The boutique resort blew me away — woke up every morning to ocean views from my terrace. The 4-night format was perfect: enough time to really explore without rushing. Would go again in a heartbeat."
Jan 2026"This is how you do Nusa Penida properly. Not just a day trip — actually living on the island, diving its waters, hiking its trails. Manta Point from underwater is something that changes you."
